Wrecking a 2004 TM450 EN

Sunday, 27 December 2015 3:30:07 pm Australia/Brisbane

This 2004 TM450 EN origanally came in to see if we could get it running and it turns out that it has the incorrect CDI and also someone has cut the wiring harness and spliced a new plug on to the harness to suit the cdi that they had purchased to try!

Due to the costs associated for a new harness and new cdi and the owner not actually knowing what the bike was like mechanically as he purchased it like this he decided to trade it on a later model bike. Hence the reason that we have the bike here for wrecking out.

The front end and the plastics have just been sold, but if you are interested in anything else, just shoot us an email via the contact details below or give us a quick call on 07 3733 1344.

Used 2004 Honda CRF250R Parts

Sunday, 27 December 2015 12:10:02 pm Australia/Brisbane

It's not really news but it might help someone out who is looking for some used Honda CRF250R parts.

We have had this 2004 Honda CRF250R come in for a top end rebuild but we have found after stripping it for the top end rebuild, that the bottom end won't be up to it and the customer decided he didn't want to go ahead.

At this point in time, it is a complete bike available for parts or it would probably suit someone well that was looking to do a 2 stroke conversion.

If you have any interest, please email via the contact form below or call 07 3733 1344

KLR Shock Rebuild & Upgrade - FFRC Blog Intro

Sunday, 20 December 2015 2:14:26 pm Australia/Brisbane

Firstly welcome to the FFRC blog. The blog is going to be a place to showcase some of the work we do as well as give you an insight in to our custom suspension work. Unlike a lot of suspension specialists here in Australia we have a suspension dyno in the workshop.  This allows us to accurately measure what the suspension is doing and ensure that any work done does give the desired outcome. It will also help show you what the changes really do. Years of experience has lead to us being able to manufacture components in house, to get the desired result instead of an off the shelf part.
